You perform Kegel exercises by lifting ?nd holding ?nd then relaxing your pelvic floor muscles. St?rt by doing a sm?ll number of exercises (ie, lifts/squeezes, holds, and relaxes) over a short period of time, then gradually incre?se both the length of time ?nd the number of exercises you ?re doing in e?ch ‘session’ (which is c?lled a set). You should perform at le?st two sets of the exercises a day.

Kegel exercises ?re ?lso c?lled pelvic floor muscle tr?ining (PFMT) exercises. They target the muscles of your pelvic floor, ?lso known ?s your pubococcyge?l (PC) muscles. Both men ?nd women h?ve PC muscles. They provide support to your pelvic org?ns, including your urethr?, bl?dder, ?nd bowel. They help hold your org?ns in pl?ce, promoting good bl?dder control and sexu?l function.
