Fo is a successful actress and stage director with a bumpy past. She is 39 and desperate to have a child. Convinced it will come between them, Dina, her partner, does everything she can to discourage her. But Fo is not the only one who wants this child. So do her friend Brendan, her mother Goni, her mothers best friend Betsy and all the other ex-pats and oddballs that make up her Athenian circle of friends and relations.
